Douching a practice where women wash the inside of their vaginas with water and other products is common with 1 in every 5 women in America doing it. Doctors have issued warnings against this practise. They warn that this practice is harmful as the vagina itself is self cleansing and does not require to be douched.
The vagina also has several smells and tastes in different times of the month or even day! The smells range from sweet, metallic, sour, and even bad in the case of poor hygiene, vaginal PH imbalance or vaginal infection.
The different vaginal smells may lead women to want to influence the smell of their vaginas using several methods.
