On January 4th this year, Netflix through their social media projected that Bridgerton would be watched by 63 million households within 28 days of its release, which would make it the fifth most-watched Netflix original series launch of all time.
So far, the series has managed to hold the number one spot having been watched by and talked about by viewers from all over the world.
Social media has been filled with images, memes, conversations and new fan pages inspired by the Netflix series. Writers have already penned down their thoughts on it and critics who may always find something to complain about have in their critiques also given it to the series for a job well done. Comedians have also already started making jokes about it and its actors have already seen spikes in their social media following.
Fans, myself included cannot wait for the second season.
