Help! A Publication Published My Article On Their Website Without My Consent.
One of the reasons we writers publish our work here on Medium is to earn money. When our articles are behind the Medium pay wall, we earn an income whenever a reader reads it.
As writers on here, we also prefer to publish our articles in publications as they usually have more followers than most of us individual writers and publishing with them can help our articles reach a bigger audience.
But by submitting our articles to publications on Medium, I am to my understanding consenting to my articles being published on Medium only! And not on any other online platform be it the publications website or another of their outlets.
I wrote and submitted the article below about my thoughts and reflections on love to a publication on Medium.
I was excited when it got accepted and published because I love the publication and I love reading the articles they publish. They also have a heart in their logo and I love hearts. Who doesn’t? And because I also thought the article was a good fit…
