Editing on the App is Back on Medium Guys!
Typos can be annoying.
So are mistakes in published content. That’s why conveniently accessible editing features come in handy for any platform.
When I first joined Medium, I wasn’t very good at it (still improving), I also had not discovered apps such as Grammarly and occasionally published not-so-well-edited stories.
At that time though, you could quickly rush to edit your story after noticing a mistake post publishing.
But somehow along the way of the many Medium updates, the editing function was removed from the app leaving writers to have to edit their stories on the website version.
This of course did not sit well with many myself included, as it was very inconveniencing. I remember reading stories from several writers even months up to a year later lamenting about the lack of the editing function on the app.
See, mobile devices are the core way we humans interact with each other on the internet. The devices are not only lightweight and portable but have also been developed to the level that they rival even some large screen devices such as laptops or personal computers.
